Budget meetings are scheduled

Several meetings are scheduled in connection with the superintendent’s proposed budget for FY 2011. Members of the public are welcome to attend. Meetings that take place in the Public Meeting Room, 10001 Iron Bridge Road, will be televised live on Comcast Channel 17 and Verizon Channel 27.

· Jan. 29 — There will be a joint meeting of the Chesterfield County School Board and Board of Supervisors at 9:30 a.m. in the Eanes-Pittman Public Safety Training Center, 6610 Public Safety Way.

· Feb. 2 — The School Board will hold a budget work session at 5 p.m. in the Public Meeting Room.

· Feb. 9 — The School Board will hold a public hearing on the budget during a 7 p.m. meeting in the Public Meeting Room.

· Feb. 15 — The School Board will hold a budget work session at 5 p.m. in the Public Meeting Room.

· Feb. 23 — The School Board is scheduled to vote on the budget during a 7 p.m. meeting in the Public Meeting Room.
